Sakurajima Yogan Nagisa Park and Foot-Bath (桜島溶岩なぎさ公園と足湯) is a wonderful stop to visit. For those visiting and is expecting to have a small dip in the free public foot-baths, please do remember to bring a small towel. Luckily, when travelling around Japan – it has taught me to always be prepared. I will always have a small towel in my bag. The foot-baths are located just opposite to the visitors centre so you really can’t miss it. When I visited it was pretty much empty, there were only 2 or 3 people around. One of the best things about this spot is the view! You get to relax and chill! After the foot-bath I continued walking towards the lava trail. One cool fact is that this foot-bath is 100 metres long.
