Native Okinawan Village (おきなわ郷土村)
I love the history of native Okinawan people, the Ryukyu people. I have been to the Shuri Castle before and found out their history and clothing resembles Chinese history. Shuri Castle also had Chinese influence. So, this Native Okinawan Village is actually a recreation from the 17th -19th century of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It’s made up of very interesting old traditional houses. The experience of walking around definitely had that time-slip feel, it was a great chance to catch a little glimpse of the past and imagine how people lived in the Ryukyu Kingdom era.
