Chapter 722: Tenshukaku Observatory (天守閣展望台)

Tenshukaku Observatory (天守閣展望台)

Although the heavy rain and angry skies were persistent throughout the entire day….I arrived at the observatory that overlooks the beautiful Ogimachi Village in Shirakawa-go. Here, it is where they have Gassho Zukuri which are the thatched roofed farmhouses. Shirakawa-go is a popular place to visit as it’s known to have one of the most scenic and amazing historic views in Japan. In the distance you get to see the snow-capped mountain tops. I absolutely loved the view so much!! I can only imagine how beautiful it would be during other seasons like winter where it’s covered in thick snow.
