One of the most interesting towers I’ve been up in. And, it’s the Goryokaku Tower in Hakodate, a big tourist attraction that offers a brilliant 360 view of the city. I love the star shaped park which has plenty of gardens and pretty flowers to view later. An adult ticket is 900 Yen. When I visited it was before noon and it was quite busy but managed to spend some time admiring the view. The tower itself stretches 107m in height. I can only imagine the view at night, or during snow season with illumination lights lit!! Across the distance you can also see Mt. Hakodate!
