I noticed this lovely Torii gate at Nagasaki Station during the Valentines week. I’m aware there is actually a real Shrine of Love in Japan located in Fukuoka. Which I’ll definitely love to visit when I’m next visiting. I’m not sure if this stand is related to the actual shrine but I would assume so. The actual shrine itself related to the God of Love, the deity whom protects the relationships of love. It’s known to be one of a kind in Japan with eye catching decorations of cute pink hearts scattered across the holy grounds. The origins of the shrine takes us back to the year 1226, it was established as part of the main Mizuta Tenmangu Shrine (水田天満宮) also located in Fukuoka.
