On the way to visit the great Suitengu Shrine which was about a 10-15 min walk from Kurume Station towards the Chikugo River, I stumbled upon this small temple called Nichirinji (曰輪寺). It was indeed a wet and cold day, it was snowing in the early morning and the news said it was due for mild snowfall during the night. This was a lovely quick stop, the road is made up of a few small temples nearby. The area was very quiet and I didn’t see anyone around.

Seems a quiet place. Hope it’s not a struggle to walk by the wet road. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

It looks like a beautifully soothing place. I love all of the trees and the weathered nature of it. Thanks for sharing!
