The one-legged Torii, Nagasaki 2018.

Upon my visit to Nagasaki I had to see the one-legged torii no matter what! On the way to the torii there was the Sanno Shrine. And when I arrived I was so amazed at how mighty it stands considering half its column was destroyed by the Atomic bomb and many areas were wiped out by the blast. Maybe, I’m exaggerating but its things like these that really make me feel so sad yet happy. Even though half was destroyed the other remains firm supporting the weight of the top crosspiece till this very day.
