From Hakata to Nagasaki, the journey took approx. 2hrs and 20mins via the Kamome Limited Express Line. I had a Kyushu Pass so it was easy to go through and hop onto a train, one way would have costed 4710Yen. It was quite an enjoyable journey, on the way you pass Saga and I saw some colourful hot air balloons and many green fields with some students on bikes. The carriage wasn’t very packed, I was on the non-reserved carriage because I didn’t book ahead and it was perfectly quiet during the early morning train. When I got off I felt different compared to Hakata alone, Nagasaki really has a more fresh and new feeling, similar to Hiroshima with wide open space.
