One of the most quietest stations I’ve ever been to. Even the security man at the main gate was too busy behind the window he never checked my pass. So I literally went in and out freely. This was bang on early February when I was in Hakata and I was on the way to check out the reclining buddha. Little did I know, the area was almost people-less. Peaceful and beautiful. I went on enjoying my time in the area, I probably only saw about max 5 people. It was a bit chilly after some night snow, but I was well prepared with some snow boots and a puffy jacket.
