I was hungry for some lunch before flying off to Okinawa. There weren’t a lot of options at Kobe Airport but at the time I wanted udon. Can’t go wrong with that! Tamon-an was located not the 2nd floor and it was one of those self ordering restaurants. Grab a tray, order, use your free-will to grab any extras, move down the the aisle towards check out. Felt a tad bit like secondary school. I ordered beef with raw egg udon, grabbed some seaweed, tempura and some chicken balls on a skewer! Can’t recall the price but it was cheap, under 1000 Yen for sure. Like many fast food restaurants, it’s good for the wallet, easy and quick. The meal wasn’t anything spectacular, I was burping full and ready to fly with a food coma.
